Cagamas Participates in the 4^th Kenya Affordable Housing Conference at Kenya, East Africa

Cagamas Berhad was represented by its President/Chief Executive Officer, Encik Kameel Abdul Halim, at the 4^th Kenya Affordable Housing Conference ("Conference"), hosted by the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC).

The Conference brought together key stakeholders from across Kenya's housing sector including Government officials, financial institutions, developers, academia, and international partners, to advance a sustainable and inclusive affordable housing ecosystem. Under the theme "Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Affordable Housing Ecosystem," the Conference focused on addressing policy and regulatory barriers, showcasing innovative housing solutions such as green finance and digital tools, and fostering collaboration across the housing value chain to accelerate the delivery of affordable housing.

Encik Kameel participated as a panellist in the session titled "Making Housing Finance Work: Lessons from Secondary Mortgage Market Players", where he provided insightful perspectives on the essential components for developing robust secondary mortgage markets.
